Cup independent developers

Hello Habr!

/ > I'll confess straight off that I wanted to write this article "I'm a PR", realizing that it almost is. But in small karma and the impossibility to do so, I still venture to write about our event in this hub, hoping for the mercy Habra.

Since the last publication was a success, though not huge, I look forward to the opportunity to report about the event here. I will not pollute the air with unnecessary detail and large images under the cut will tell the most basic.

Better late than never. Our event will be held from 15 June to 15 August, completely online contact.

The main goal that we pursue is to popularize the video game industry and the opportunity for novice developers to take it to the next level. One of the main partners of the Cup is the international program Indie Prize, held in the framework of world-famous exhibitions of the gaming industry from Casual Connect.

To get into the top 100 of the best independent developers in the world is quite a difficult task, but with us it can become a reality. At least we sincerely want to do something cool and yet we all get. More than 35 participants :)

It was the finalist for the Indie GTP Cup will have a unique opportunity to get directly into the finals of the Indie Prize Tel-Aviv 2016 without qualifying the mesh, and show their game among the hundred best of the game in November. The attendance to all lectures of the conference Casual Connect and stay in tel Aviv taking on the organizers of the Indie Prize, and, moreover, offer a separate area where you will conduct a presentation of their project and be able to communicate with colleagues, players, and even publishers. Alas sponsor flights for finalists we haven't found yet, but agree, too bad.

To be a winner on GTP Indie Cup, you need to get into the top ten projects according to the public opinion. From 15 June to 15 August is submission, and on July 15 the start of public voting, where everyone can rate any project.

Despite the start of voting on Friday, we continue the works are accepted till August 15, then closes the submission and summarizes the public vote. Many developers just finished their demo and alpha by early August.

And then the fun begins: a competent team of 8 members of the jury will choose the best project and 22 August will announce the name standout! Many of the participants will be glad to know that appreciate them are really professionals:
Sergei Grigorovich (GSC Gameworld), Maxim Fomichev (G2А and just a PR Jedi), Julia Moskaleva (Indie Prize), Alex Savchenko (Epic Games, UE Evangelist), Michael Zinchenko (Kiev operating producer of Wargaming development centre), Paul Dorohovsky (4A Games, Lead 3d artist), Michael Katz (Co-Founder Plarium Education), Alexander Shlygin (Unity, solution consultant).

But despite the lack of a commercial component in the organization of the event, we enlisted the support of partners like Razer, Unity, and weGame Games Gathring for the expansion of the prize Fund and nominations. All the details on the Cup.

We sincerely wish good luck to all current participants of the Cup and hope that together with abrasheva gather more talents and help them Shine!
